2018 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship

Dear Michigan PGA Member:

The 2018 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship is rapidly approaching and the Michigan PGA will once again play a major role. This prestigious event will be conducted the week of May 22-28, 2018 at The Golf Club at Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor. As a Michigan PGA Member, we would like to invite you to assist the PGA of America by volunteering to work. As a volunteer, you would need to work a minimum of two shifts and will receive one credit per hour worked, with a max of eight credits per day. Each volunteer will receive a uniform to wear while working, food vouchers, parking pass as well as a tournament credential for the week.

We are being asked to provide approximately 100 Members to volunteer and perform such duties as monitor the practice range, short game area and putting green, starting time boards, as well as some on-site instructional activities. We will also need volunteers to work a Community Relations Day in advance of the championship and we will send info out on that at a later time.

In the event we have more Members volunteer than necessary, we will use criteria such as past service to the Section and/or Chapters to narrow the list down to the required number.

If you are interested, please complete the volunteer form as soon as possible to Diane at dlazaros@michiganpga.com.

As a past volunteer myself, I would strongly encourage you to consider volunteering yourself and/or encouraging a PGA staff member of yours as I know that the experience will be memorable. Thank you in advance for sharing in the excitement and anticipation of the upcoming 2018 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. We are so lucky to serve as hosts!

Sincerely,

Kevin McKinley, PGA
