Drive, Chip, & Putt National Finalists

As Masters week ends we would like to acknowledge our Michigan competitors who represented us at the Drive, Chip, & Putt National Finals!

PJ Maybank III, Sophie Stevens, and Paige Radebach made the trip to Augusta National to compete with some of the best juniors this past Sunday before the Masters. PJ placed third overall in the 12-13 boy’s division with his scores being a ten in driving, six in chipping, and seven in putting for a final score of 23. Sophie competed in the girls 12-13 age division and placed seventh in her age division. Sophie scored a seven in driving, seven point five in chipping, and a one in putting for a final score of 15.5. Paige finished fourth overall in the girls 7-9 division with a two in driving, seven in chipping, and ten in putting for an overall score of 19.

Chairman Ridley describes being at the Drive, Chip, & Putt finals as “It can be seen in the smiles on the faces (of the competitors). The enthusiasm is absolutely infectious. Our members and past champions can feel it. Our patrons feel it. And the viewers watching on The Golf Channel feel it.”
