Bush / Zavadil / Pollack / Urban win the Fall Pro Scratch presented by All Star Pro Golf

Ann Arbor, MI – The Michigan PGA Section  wrapped up its final event with the 2013 Fall Pro Scratch presented by All Star Pro Golf at Barton Hills Country Club. The team of 4 Michigan PGA professionals – Aaron Bush, Dan Urban, Joe Pollack and Matt Zavadil, won the event with a score of (-9) under 133.

The fall Michigan weather made for a tough day to score. The golf course had received quite a bit of rain the previous weekend making for soft, long conditions. With the temperatures never really getting above 55 degrees and a strong wind the score of (-9) under was good enough to win in this 2 best of 4 pro / scratch format. Coming in second at 3 shots behind were the teams of professionals – Josh Fryer, Jeff Ferry, John Pershern, Kyle Martin, and the team of professionals David Zink and Boyd Barth along with their amateur partners Jerry Dagenais and Scott Wirth.

The event was open to both Michigan PGA Professionals or Apprentices and amateurs that live in Michigan. Each team had to have at least one Michigan PGA Professional or Apprentice.

We would like to thank our host site Barton Hills Country Club. Their staff did a great job hosting this event and getting the golf course ready with tough weather conditions.

We would also like to thank our sponsor All Star Pro Golf. This is the second year that this golf accessories company out of Spencer, Iowa has sponsored this event. We appreciate their support, and JP Kramer and Clark Smith for attending the event Monday.
