Devantier, Pearce, Luck & Hudson win the Earth Networks / AndersonOrd Fall Pro Scratch

Southfield, MI – The Michigan PGA Section wrapped up the 2019 season on Monday with the Earth Networks / AndersonOrd Fall Pro Scratch at Plum Hollow Country Club.

A beautiful sunny day gave way to some low scores in this scratch two best ball of four event . The event was sold out with 27 teams !

It was the team of PGA Professionals Tim Pearce from Birmingham CC, Tommy Lucko from the Marriott at Eagle Crest, Don Devantier from Oakland Hills and amateur Brett Hudson that took home top honors with a score of 131 (-14 ). This was the first win for this team and was highlighted by picking up a couple skins with 2 birdies at the tough par 3 9th hole and a birdie and a eagle on the par 5 first hole.

Coming in second at 135 was the team from Walnut Creek Golf & Country Club with professionals AJ Partenio, Nick Leach, Zeke Schwartz and amateur Mike Roberts.

We would like to thank the sponsors of this event Earth Networks and AndersonOrd. Tim Grombala from AndersonOrd was onsite and provided everyone with a pull over courtesy of AndersonOrd.

We would also like to thank our host site Plum Hollow Country Club. The golf course was in great shape with some of the best greens we have seen all year. All of the players enjoyed the golf course ad it had been a while since the Section has had an event there.
