A successful day of PGA HOPE Training yesterday at the Michigan PGA Section office and Forest Akers East Golf Course!
18 Michigan PGA Professionals are now PGA HOPE Certified and ready to serve our Michigan Veterans, including PGA of America President, John Lindert! A big thank you to ...Trevor Hazen, National PGA HOPE Trainer, for conducting the training and to Forest Akers for allowing us to use their hitting bays during the afternoon portion of the training!
Congratulations to our newest groups of PGA HOPE Michigan Graduates!
Sessions 1 and 2 of PGA HOPE Grand Rapids were hosted at Thornapple Pointe Golf Club. Instructors for these sessions were PGA Professionals Tyler Wong, Payne Gniewek, and Kelly Plaisier.
Session 1 of PGA HOPE ...Belmont was hosted at 24/7 Golf by PGA Professionals Kosta Ramirez, Ian Hughes, Julie Schut, and Ward Sutton.
These groups of graduates completed a developmental 6-week curriculum as they began their golf journey. Thank you to our PGA HOPE instructors for their efforts to lead these sessions, and to our graduates for their service to our country! 🇺🇸
An awesome day Sunday at the second annual Patriot Classic Charity Hockey Game! 24 of our Michigan PGA Professionals played against Detroit Red Wings Alumni players with a goal of raising money for three Veteran organizations targeting Michigan Veterans: PGA HOPE Michigan, @foldsofhonor , and ...@spikesk9fund .
Thank you to Munn Ice Arena for hosting the event! The players and spectators had a great time and we are looking forward to next year’s game!
