After losing #12 to go 3 down John won hole #13 with a par as Kyle hit his second shot in the water. John then missed birdie putts at both #14 and #15 to win holes. On hole #16 John hit his approach to 4 feet and won the hole with the conceded birdie as Kyle’s par putt just missed.

With Kyle 1 up with 2 holes to play they headed to the island green #17th hole. Seltzer hit his approach safely on about 15 feet from the hole. Kyle unfortunately found the water with his approach ,sending the match to hole #18 all square.

After losing the last two holes Kyle was able to compose himself and hit a great drive and second shot just short of the green at the par 5 18th hole. He then chipped up for a tap in birdie. This proved good enough as John was unable to get up and down for birdie from the right rough as his 10 foot birdie putt just slid past. With this win Kyle picks up $4,000 and his first Michigan PGA Section Match Play title.
