Oakley Pro-Junior

Bath, MI –  An exciting day wrapped up Sunday at the Oakley Pro-Junior hosted at Eagle Eye Golf Club. It was a great turn out with a full field of 32 teams. Brent Goulding of Prestwick Village, and his crew of juniors, Alec Horvath, Robby Golobo, and Justin LaFrance took the 16-18 division with a score of 117 (-27), winning by 9 strokes. The 12-15 division was captured by Patrick Wilkes-Krier of Kendall Academy at Miles of Golf, Edward Shen, Shaunak Bhagat, and Colin Flanders, firing a 132 (-12) The tournament was played in shamble format which allowed each team to play from the team’s best drive and then play their own ball in from there, carding their best two scores.

An exciting day of golf also gave us a 3 way tie for 2nd place in the 16-18 division between the teams of Colchamiro, Allard and Bales which was then broken by way of a scorecard playoff in favor of Kenneth Allard and his team of Jake Radom, Alex Acho and Charlie Erickson. The 12-15 division had an outright 2nd place team of Brian Earles of Foundation Learning Center, Haydon Chapman, Harrison Chapman, and Matt Flynn shooting 135 (-9).

We would like to thank our sponsor Oakley for sponsoring this wonderful tournament while providing awards and tee gifts.  Another big thank you goes out to Eagle Eye Golf Club for once again being a superb host site whose course was in excellent condition.
