Grand Blanc, MI – The father / son team of Jack and John Seltzer followed up their opening round of 62 in the morning with a 64 in the afternoon to win their first Winston Collection / Casa De Campo Senior Junior Championship as a team.

For the second year in a row the Senior Junior Championship was held at Warwick Hills Country Club in Grand Blanc. 41 teams competed in this 36 hole best ball format with one team member over the age of 50 and the other under the age of 50.

The Seltzer team got off to a hot start in the morning round as Jack made a Hole in One on Hole #3. They combined this with 8 other birdies for and opening round of 62 (-10 under). Jack and John Seltzer continued their fine play into the afternoon round as they birdied 3 of their first 4 holes. They went on to make 5 more birdies for a round of 64 (-8 under). This gave them a 2 round total of 126 (-18 under), good for a 5 shot victory. John is the Director of Golf at Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton and Jack is an instructor at the Kendall Academy of Golf in Ypsilanti, MI.

Coming in second place at a total of 131 was the team of Kevin Muir and Jordan Young. Kevin and Jordan shot an afternoon round of 65 that included a Hole in One on Hole #17 by Jordan Young. Jordan receives $500 courtesy of Casa De Campo for this Hole in One on #17.
