Three Michiganders Advance to Augusta National for the Final Drive, Chip & Putt Championship

Michigan was well represented at the Regional Drive Chip & Putt competition hosted at Muirfield Village. Three out of eight qualifiers for the National Drive Chip & Putt competition, to be hosted at Augusta National are Michigan Locals. PJ Maybank III, Sophie Stevens, & Paige Radebach will advance to compete on the Sunday before the Masters at Augusta National. These three individuals went through three very competitive rounds of qualifying to make it to this stage. Tens of thousands of kids enter into the Local Qualifiers throughout the nation, and only 80 will make it to Augusta. Michigan is proud to send three of our top competitors to enjoy a day full of competition, and fun among the top golf legends. The Drive, Chip & Putt Qualifiers are completely free to register; registration for the 2019 local qualifiers will open in February of 2019. Be sure to tune into the Golf Channel on Sunday April 7th, 2019 to watch PJ Maybank III, Sophie Stevens, & Paige Radebach compete!
